You’ve heard the expression, “out of sight, out of mind.” Without visual cues to remind us to do certain things on a certain date or time it’s easy to forget to collect money, order new inventory, or pay invoices on time. Years ago, the Japanese perfected the art of visual reminders. They coined this, “kanban,” which loosely translates into visual record or card.
Business owners today can implement their own kanban with reminders to help stay organized and more efficient. In this video see how our founder, Alicia Butler Pierre, created her own visual accounting system using kanban.
