Transcript
Hi there, how are you?
I’m Alicia Butler Pierre and I’m the producer and host of the Business Infrastructure podcast and, as of this season, your guide throughout our first ever AI audio conference.
This episode is our way of putting a sort of bookend on this season, so it won’t be long, I promise.
Our AI audio conference featured 11 guests who each shared invaluable tips and advice on how to leverage AI to improve your back-office operations – the good, the bad, and the downright scary in terms of how to use it to increase your efficiency, bandwidth, and cash flow.
We even unpacked the potential of AI to save time on administrative tasks by serving as a digital assistant. There was even a discussion about building your own AI using a large language model.
We also talked about the threats that AI can pose – things like deep fakes, plagiarism, misinformation, and even a term that I’ve coined – harassment automation. Reach out to me if you want to find out more about that.
The conference was organized into two fireside chats, a keynote speaker and eight demos of specific AI tools.
Here’s a recap…
This season would not have been possible were it not for the amazing guests who graciously gave of their time to participate in this conference. I sincerely thank each of them.
The season began with an opening Fireside Chat with Kjell Carlsson. He decoded many words associated with AI and even shared relatable examples to make sure we understand key AI concepts. – don’t allow these words and concepts to prevent you from growing and scaling your business to the next level.
There were 8 AI Product Demonstrations. Different guests shared the tools they use to increase operational efficiency and gave demonstrations of how they use them. Those guests and the AI tools they shared include:
- Jim Stroud: Perplexity AI
- Beate Chelette: Momento FM
- Gladys Jimenez: Murf AI, Gling, and CapCut
- Clarence Levy III: Cloud Bounce
- Edie Woelfle: Namelix, Fireflies AI
- Dr. Terica Pearson: Gemini
We also had a keynote speaker – Dean Hamilton. He also broke down complex AI terms into easy-to-understand language. This helps us small business owners understand how AI can improve our back-office operations. He also gave a reality check of the dangers of AI as well as a candid assessment of common perceptions to help you decide whether AI is right for your business.
Finally, our closing speaker is also another friend of the show – Tracy Hazzard. As someone deeply steeped in graphic design, technology, and entrepreneurship, she shared how to take large language models offered by companies like Open AI and Google to build your own AI tool.
You can see the actual conference that includes the different AI product demonstrations on our YouTube channel.
The name of our YouTube channel is Equilibria, Inc. (I-N-C). Look for us directly there. Or, you can always visit BusinessInfrastructure.TV.

An extra special thank you to our amazing team here at Equilibria that banded together and even tested many AI tools in preparation for each of these episodes. They are: Gladys Jimenez, Erika Ve Revilla, Clarence Levy III with Sabor! Music Enterprises.
And we must also acknowledge our wonderful voiceover artists that participated this season: Leenhea Durousseau and Kenya A. Moses.
Coming up in the next season, we’re going to have another masterclass. This time it will focus on growth strategies. Business infrastructure is a system that facilitates growing and scaling your business to the next level? But how do you actually implement ideas you have for growing and scaling? That’s what we’ll cover in Season 23.
So…make sure you subscribe to this show on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, YouTube, or wherever you enjoy podcasts so you don’t miss this masterclass!
Until then, keep operating…smoothly!
This is the Business Infrastructure – Curing Back-Office Blues podcast.
